How Registration Works

Academic Industry Meeting day, or AIMday™, is centred around focused workshops that address key technology questions put forth by industry. The questions are submitted around a central theme (in this case AI for Biotechnology) which is then discussed and brainstormed jointly between industry participants and academics thus leveraging multidisciplinary expertise from across the University.

Thus:

  • Each question or challenge on the topic of AI for Biotechnology submitted by a company is tackled by a group of academics, with the aim of finding a pathway to a solution.
  • The AIMday™ workshop format is unique, tried-and-tested: One question, One hour, One group of academic experts tackling it.

Organisations:

To register for an AIMday event as industry/other organisation, you need to submit at least one question, i.e. your question is submitted in advance of the meeting.

This is your entrance ticket to meet academic scientists who can contribute in the process of solving the challenge set by the question.

The submitted questions will be listed on the website for the meeting.

 

Academia:

As a researcher, you will then be able to register and indicate, in order of priority, which questions you would like to take part in discussing.

The organisers perform the logistics for a personalised schedule based on the interest and availability of researchers. The schedule optimises participation and efficiency during the day for all attendees.

Your personal schedule will be sent to you a couple of weeks prior to the event.
