The University of Edinburgh will host AIMday Data for Healthcare on Wednesday 1 May 2019. This is the second in a series of data-themed AIMday events taking place at the University this year.

Academic Industry Meeting day, or AIMday™, is based on workshops where questions submitted by companies around a central theme are discussed with academics from relevant University disciplines.

Health industries produce vast amounts of data in many different forms: medical records, images, information from monitoring devices and more. Analysis of this data can have implications for how treatment is distributed, the level of care patients receive and the delivery of revenue.

AIMday Data for Healthcare will help companies and organisations in the healthcare sector use their data to innovate and increase efficiency.

Each question submitted by a company is tackled by a group of multi-disciplinary academics with the aim of finding pathways to solutions.

One question, one hour, a group of academic experts: that is the AIMday format!

Register your attendance at AIMday Data for Healthcare by submitting your question(s) on the registration page before Friday 22 March 2019.

If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact the team at Edinburgh.Innovations@ed.ac.uk.
