Welcome to AIMday Energy
For the second year running, the University of Edinburgh will be hosting AIMday Energy on 27 June 2018. We look forward to welcoming organisations working within the energy sector or who have an interest in working in the sector along with academics from a variety of disciplines to address industry challenges relating to the energy theme.
We hope that this year’s AIMday Energy will attract both new and former participants, and be just as successful in bringing understanding and new perspectives to industrial challenges.
AIMday is a free one-day event comprised of multiple one-hour workshops based on challenges put forward by companies. Questions posed are made available on this website for academics and researchers to apply their individual expertise to. You can read more about this unique concept on the AIMday concept page.
The University of Edinburgh has world-class expertise in a diverse range of research areas that support the energy sector, and your organisation can benefit by sharing your current or future challenges.
Companies and organisations are invited to submit up to three (3) questions up until 11 May 2018 by visiting the Registration for Organisations page. The question(s) you submit is your entry ticket to AIMday Energy.
Please note that your questions will be published on this website.
To ensure your workshop(s) are successful, we ask that at least two company representatives who are familiar with the question or challenge posed are available to participate.
For any queries or if you need help formulating your questions, please contact the team at Edinburgh.Innovations@ed.ac.uk.
