Would you like some of the UK’s most innovative minds working on your company’s challenges?

AIMday Manufacturing for the Future at the University of Edinburgh is designed to bring together organisations that have a manufacturing challenge and multi-disciplinary researchers in order to find pathways to solutions.

The University has world-class expertise in a diverse range of research areas that support the manufacturing sector. Your organisation can benefit by sharing your current or future challenges.

Companies and organisations are invited to submit questions ahead of AIMday Manufacturing for the Future to be held in Edinburgh on 17 January 2018.

Questions posed are discussed on the day in individual company workshops with some of the UK’s leading experts.

You can submit your questions for the event until Friday 1 December 2017 by visiting the ‘Registration for Organisations’ page.

One question, one hour, a group of academic experts – the AIMday format is unique.

We particularly welcome questions on the following subjects:

  • Synthetic biology for manufacturing
  • Materials for manufacturing
  • Big data and intelligent systems
  • Formulations in manufacturing
  • Additive manufacturing

If you have any questions please contact the team at Edinburgh.Innovations@ed.ac.uk.
