FAQ

Who can pose questions to an AIMday event?

We welcome questions from companies, cities and other public organisations.

What kind of questions can be asked?

The questions can be made very wide or very narrow. We don’t put any restrictions on the question formulation, and the only one who decides about the character of the question is you and your organization.
If wanted, the organizers can help you formulate your problem into one or more questions.

How many questions can I ask?

A maximum of 4 questions per organization, since it will not be possible for you to attend all your workshops otherwise. We know from experience that it is good to be at least two company representatives for each question. That way you will get the most out of the discussions.

What topics will be covered in the workshops?

The topics are decided entirely by the questions posed.

Will other companies be allowed to take part in our workshop?

This is something that you and your colleagues decide. Normally, we encourage other companies to take part in the workshops in order to provide a new angle to the problem, and discuss possible ways to tackle the issues raised together. However, if you feel that you would rather exclude other companies, then this is OK.

Why do I need to send in our question a long time before the actual meeting day?

In order to organize the meeting day properly, we need to give the academic researchers time to register and indicate which questions they would like to take part in discussing. We also need some time to arrange the parallel sessions to ensure accurate matchmaking of competence in each workshop, and effective use of everyone’s time.
