Welcome to AIMday for Therapeutic Innovation.

Join us on Wednesday 15 May 2019 at the University of Bath.

This AIMday event is hosted by the University of Bath’s Centre for Therapeutic Innovation (CTI) at “The Edge”, situated at the University of Bath’s campus.

Academics from the CTI are working together to transform and translate innovation in drug discovery and development to create effective medicines for patient benefit. The research is involved in 3 main areas:

(1) Inflammatory disease – early diagnosis, drug targets, biomarkers and outcome measures with a particular focus on rheumatic disease

(2) Drug Delivery – oral, nasal, skin and inhaled drug delivery

(3) Innovative technologies – molecular biophysics, biosensors and lab on a chip

This AIMday is designed to bring together the academic expertise from within the CTI and beyond with industry to help answer the most pressing challenges to companies. The event offers a unique opportunity for companies to discuss and share problems with academic experts. All participants will be able to share knowledge and ideas that will lead to broadening and deepening contacts and an introduction to potential collaborative partners that can work together in addressing real problems.

Names of organisations and the questions posted will be open to all on this website.
