AIMday Sustainable Consumption

University Alliance Stockholm Trio and City of Stockholm

3 December 2025 – KTH Campus, Stockholm

Welcome to AIMday Sustainable Consumption

How can we reduce the climate impact of consumption in Stockholm? On 3 December 2025, researchers from Karolinska Institutet, KTH, and Stockholm University will join staff from the City of Stockholm at AIMday to explore this question – a day for knowledge sharing, inspiration, and building new collaborations.

The City of Stockholm aims to halve consumption-based emissions by 2030 compared with emissions in 2019. Achieving this goal requires transformation across all sectors of society – from how we eat and travel to how we live, shop, and use resources.

AIMday Sustainable Consumption brings together researchers and staff from the City of Stockholm to exchange knowledge and explore opportunities for collaboration on sustainable consumption. The day also includes opportunities for informal networking and conversations with research funders.

In September, the City of Stockholm submitted their challenges related to sustainable consumption. These questions form the foundation of AIMday and set the agenda for a day of workshops where researchers and city staff come together to address concrete challenges – see all the submitted questions from City of Stockholm (in Swedish).

Researchers from Karolinska Institutet, KTH, and Stockholm University can register for workshops by 14th November. Please note that workshops will be conducted primarily in Swedish; however, you are welcome to speak English if you prefer.

The event is organised by the University Alliance Stockholm Trio – Karolinska Institutet, KTH, and Stockholm University – in collaboration with the City of Stockholm.

Welcome – participation is free of charge.
