The UK SPINE and MICRA consortia will be hosting an AIMday on Healthy Ageing on 10th September 2020. The is event will bring together industry with academia to challenges related to healthy ageing.

This will be a virtual event and will be open to researchers from across the UK.

An Academic Industry Meeting Day (AIMday) is an innovative networking event that allows external organisations to set the agenda and gain academic perspective into industry challenges. Each AIMday his centred around small group discussions based on a question posed by the external participant. This gives industry partners and researchers the assurance that the topics addressed will be of genuine interest, while also providing the opportunity to gain fresh insights, meet potential collaborators, and grow a network.

How it works

Step 1: Industry delegates are invited to sign up and submit a topic suitable for a roundtable discussion.

Step 2: Once industry registration is complete, academics are invited to sign up for the sessions that match their interest and expertise.

Step 3: Once academic registration is complete, we generate a schedule and will send out video conferencing links to all participants.
