What need do you see regarding development of characterization tools for nano-structured material?
It is clear to us that different kind electron microscopy techniques are vital for the understanding of the behaviour of nanomaterial. We would like to know more about in what area further technique development is the most urgent.

Roll-to-roll production of micro-nano-structured thermoplastic film
We have developed a platform for production of micro-and-nanostructured thermoplastic film. The film structures can be from 50 nm to 50 um. We can express many types of structure, ranging from optical to functional to mechanical. The method of production allows very high volume at very low cost.

How to increase friction coefficient between two hard and planar surfaces?
Piezolegs motors are based on moving a planar part (drive rod) by friction contact with two pair of legs, each pair gripping and moving drive rod with 180degrees phase shift. Function requires normal force, and hard surfaces to minimize wear. Often low friction is requested, we look for the opposite: High friction to minimize normal force.
