AIMDay concept

The AIMday concept is to match questions from businesses and organisations with relevant research expertise. These questions are the subject for discussions in small, multi-disciplinary sessions with one hour per question.

AIMday brings an interdisciplinary group together who can provide different perspectives and novel avenues to solving problems. It can open the doors to businesses working with not academia but with other sectors to, thus broadening knowledge and improving product development.

An AIMday consists of several parallel one-hour workshops where exchange of knowledge on certain challenges and problems takes place. We ask organisations to be ready to share as much information as possible in order to get the best possible suggestion and feedback from the academics.

The questions and the names of the organisations that submit them are public information accessible to all. AIMday participants are welcome to join any of the sessions they wish and hope to contribute to.

If there is any situation in which the organisation wishes to sign an NDA for further discussion, please let us know and we can arrange this, allowing only certain people to attend that particular session.

At the end of the day, we hope that relationships have been forged and there is scope for potential collaborations to help take your business ideas forward through the range of funding opportunities that we have to offer.
