AIMday Sustainable future – the road to new solutions

The goal of AIMday is to inspire and create opportunity for collaboration that meets important company- and societal development needs, in an informal setting. Companies and other organisations ask our researchers questions relating to their challenges. It´s an engaged and efficient exchange of knowledge and idéas focusing on finding possible solutions together.

This is the first AIMday at Dalarna University, but the concept is used with various themes by universities across the globe and was created by Uppsala University 15 years ago.

These are also areas in which Dalarna University engages in research and education. We welcome questions connected to any of the above areas.

Questions – Workshops

The questions that we receive form the base of AIMday workshops – it´s not a traditional conference with lectures and seminars, instead the questions from companies and other organisations are at the core of each discussion. Societal challenges, formulated into one or several questions, will set the agenda for workshops in which researchers and organisation meets.

In short, send us the question, or questions, that you´d like to discuss with an expert by filling out the form at the bottom of the page “Organisations – info and registration” and we´ll try to match you with a couple of experts that can be a sounding board and exchange ideas based on their specific area of expertise. This leads to exciting interdisciplinary discussions on the road to solutions, and new relationships are formed.

We welcome questions from all external organisations, companies, public bodies, not for profit.
