Why participate in AIMday Sustainable Consumption?
The AIMday format – one question, one hour, one group with broad expertise – is a concept used by several universities in Sweden and across Europe, and has proven to be valuable. Participants have gained useful contacts, new ways of approaching challenges, and have initiated collaborations.
At AIMday Sustainable Consumption, the City of Stockholm will have the opportunity to:
- learn from researchers’ perspectives and knowledge related to their own challenges
- discover new opportunities for organisational development through collaborative research
- establish contacts for future needs in commissioned education
- meet potential future employees, such as PhD candidates
- initiate potential research projects with researchers from KTH, Karolinska Institutet, and Stockholm University that contribute to the city’s work
Researchers from Karolinska Institutet, KTH, and Stockholm University will have the opportunity to:
- be inspired to develop new research questions and projects
- gain insights into the City of Stockholm’s challenges and knowledge needs
- establish contacts for future projects, empirical studies, or employment
- meet researchers from other disciplines, departments, and universities working on similar issues
- discover how their own expertise can be applied to address real-world organisational challenges
- apply for seed funding to initiate collaborative projects with the City of Stockholm
Please note that workshops will be conducted primarily in Swedish; however, you are welcome to speak English if you prefer.
