This AIMday™ event is on Tuesday, April 23rd, hosted on the University of Waterloo main campus.
AIMday™ Interactive and Immersive Technologies is a workshop where industry groups meet University of Waterloo’s professors to discuss industry’s challenges related to hardware, software, and design of new immersive experiences using Augmented, Mixed, and Virtual Reality technologies (XR). Join us for this exciting event where experts converge to explore new ideas and reimagine how to address ongoing challenges and the transformation towards interactive and immersive technologies.
Themes:
- AI for diverse content creation
- Crafting compelling characters and narratives
- Human-machine interfaces and haptic feedback systems
- Immersive content for Virtual and Augmented Reality platforms
- Legal and ethical considerations surrounding the application of generative AI in entertainment industries
- Adoption of interactive and immersive technologies in educational or training settings
How to participate:
- Identify your current and future challenges in the categories listed
- Register your organization for the event, and submit the challenges in the form of questions no later than Wednesday, March 20
- Join us at the AIMday at the University of Waterloo, Tuesday, April 23
Registration is free, but your organization must submit at least one question that you wish to discuss with University researchers to participate. We look forward to your contributions and interesting and stimulating discussions.
Important dates:
- Participating organizations register and submit challenges no later than Wednesday, March 20.
- Registration for academic researchers opens on Wednesday, March 27.
- Event takes place on Tuesday, April 23.
