A successful AIMday®

Tips on a successful AIMday®

Recommended agenda for the 1 hour work shops:

A bell will sound five minutes before each work shop starts.

  • presentations “around the table” (five minutes).
  • company/organization presenting the question (five minutes).
  • discussion (about 45 minutes).
  • summing up and, if desired filling in a pre-study application (five minutes).

Companies and organizations

Before the meeting:
  • register two or more representatives for each question and make sure that you have back-up in case of e.g. illness (if your company doesn´t show up, there will be an unwanted gap in the schedule for the other participants)
  • read through your question and the background material you have registered
  • Prepare a short presentation (max 5 minutes) of your issue. There won’t be any projectors or computers at hand since it is too time consuming.

During the meeting:

  • appoint one of the representatives to start up the meeting (by letting everyone introducing them self and there after “asking your questions”)
  • keep the group discussion in English (unless all attendees are fluent in Swedish)

Academic researchers

Before the meeting:
  • read through the questions and background material (if applicabel) you have been assigned to.
